Devoted father of Judith Ann Coakley and her late husband Cornelius of Duxbury, William E and his wife Cynthia of Sharon, Anna Marie Longbottom and her husband Eric of Newmarket, NH, Christine E Dowd and her husband Philip of Greenland, NH, Margaret Knight and her husband George Moore of Groton. Brother of Margaret Crean of Salem and the late Eleanor Donahue, Dorothy Libadone, John and Arthur Knight. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. KOSSAK, Dr. John S., MFA, Ed.D 89 of Mansfield passed away peacefully on April 17, 2014 surrounded by family. He was born in Swampscott, MA on April 15, 1925 and raised as the only son of Felix and Filomena Bruno of East Boston. John graduated with a B.A. from Fordham University in 1948 and received his Doctorate in Education from Boston University in 1986. John was married in December 1953 to Pat Stagnitta of New York City, NY. John began his working career in marketing & sales during the 1950s. John founded Air Ads Inc. in 1962 with a pioneering concept that introduced modern kiosks to airports along with in flight airline advertising space. John then joined the staff of Johnson & Wales College in Providence Rhode Island, where he founded the Weekend College, the School of Culinary Art and many Veterans Education Programs. John retired as a Dean of the College in 1987. After retirement from J & W College, John & Pat moved to Massachusetts where he worked for the Walpole Public Schools. Johns love of literary arts reached a milestone in 2010, when he became a published author through a collection of original poetry works entitled From Fertile Fields A Limited Harvest. John and Pat were active in the local church in Walpole. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat Kossak along with five children, Michael Kossak, Pat Bachand, & John C. Kossak all of Florida, Mary Servello of Maine and Phyllis Kossak of Massachusetts. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 21, at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, NORWOOD, MA from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 10:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, East St, Walpole, MA. Burial will be at St Marys Cemetery, Franklin Street, Mansfield, MA. KRABY, Alice (Gallant) 92, of Wrentham, formerly of Carver, Falmouth, and Canton, passed peacefully on April 15, 2014 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wrentham. Born in Boston on September 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Gaudette) Gallant. Alice was educated in Boston schools. She worked as an administrator at State Street Bank in Quincy for many years prior to retirement. She loved music and dancing, going to the beach and swimming, and was an avid Bruins fan. Alice is survived by three sons; Robert Kraby of Florida, Paul Kraby of Plainville, and William Kraby of Wareham, eight grandchildren; Tanya Frasier of Lynnfield, Melissa Nunziato of Plymouth, Erik Kraby of Florida, Laura Kraby of Concord, Michael Kraby of Cumberland, RI, Jenna Johnson of Boston, Jessica Kraby of Los Angeles, CA, and Julie Kraby of Lawrence, and three great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Maureen Camissa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 4-8 PM in the R.J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, RT 1A, Wrentham Centre. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 9 AM in St. Marys Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham. Burial will follow in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
