BIONDO, John C., "Johnny B." Age 51, of Dracut, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on April 24, 2016. John was the cherished son of Charles R. and Noreen T. (Skehill) Biondo. Dear brother of Julie M. Pozzi & husband Chris and the late Joseph C. Biondo. Loving uncle of Jonathan and Heather Pozzi, all of Wilmington. Devoted companion of Carolyn Callahan and her children Caitlin & D. J., all of Dracut. John is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ferguson of Framingham; and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Bittenbender in 1970; and brother, Robert J. BOOTH, Jeanette Ackley (Patterson) 77, of Groveland, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Lawrence General Hospital. She was the devoted wife of 51 years of Carl L. Booth and daughter of the late Herbert and Beryl (Lundy) Patterson, graduating from high school in Boston, then graduating from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, for activities director. Besides her husband, Carl of Groveland, she leaves 4 sons, Richard Eaton of Haverhill, Robert Eaton and wife Gail of Boerne, TX, Ronald Eaton and life partner Donna of East Hampstead, NH, and Todd Booth and fiance Tricia Costin of Haverhill; grandchildren, Eric, Vanessa and Samuel, along with many dear friends. She was predeceased by her son, Brian. Visiting hours at the Monument Square Chapel of Paul C. BOWLER, Elizabeth E. (McGrath) Of Braintree, passed away on April 25, 2016 surrounded by the family she cherished. The beloved wife of 60 years to the late Edmund Bowler. Loving mother of Edmund T. Bowler, Jr. and his wife Dot of Hingham. Richard Bowler and his partner Michelle McCormick of Boston, Neal Bowler and his wife Bonnie of Pembroke and Maureen Boulanger and her husband Tim of NJ. Cherished sister of Peg Boyle of Brookline and the late Rev. Thomas McGrath, S.J., Ann McCluskey, Mary McMahon, John McGrath and Rita Carroll. Devoted Granny to Stephanie, Julie, Chrissie, Eddie, Alex, Cosette, Joy and Mac. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Regis College Class of 1949, she late received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Assumption College. Mrs. Bowler was a longstanding member at South Shore Country Club. The foundation of her life was her family and her faith. They were the cornerstone of what was truly important to her. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother as well as a devout Catholic. Her family is grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. Betty will be sadly missed. BRANTON, KENNETH ROBERT JOHN - Scituate  
BRANTON, Kenneth Robert John Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at age 82 at on April 21, 2016 in Scituate, Massachusetts. Ken was born on October 6, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents, LeRoy Branton and Angelina (Triolo) Branton. Ken graduated from Glen-Nor High School, Glenolden, PA in 1952. His participation in baseball and football opened the door to attend college at West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania. Ken graduated from the university with a Masters of Science Degree in Education in 1955. Following graduation, Ken taught geography and coached baseball at Interboro Junior High School, Interboro, PA. Over his five years coaching the Interboro Bucs, he racked up an amazing 57-4 record. While teaching, Ken was introduced to his future wife, Concetta Ferzetti, by his student, Jerry, who suggested that Ken needed to meet his good looking sister. He married Concetta in 1958. At age 26, under the guidance from his oldest brother, Roy, Ken resigned his teaching post to join Roy to accept a position with John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. After his training with John Hancock, Ken returned to the Philadelphia area. He continued to sell insurance policies door to door. Believing in the need for life insurance, Ken became one of the top John Hancock agents in the country. He was quickly promoted and was responsible for opening new branches in the Philadelphia area. As his career progressed, he relocated to Albany, NY before transferring to the John Hancock's headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts in 1974. Ken continued his success with John Hancock to become a member of the senior executive team. He retired at the age of 57. Following retirement, Ken remained active playing both tennis and golf. He was a member of the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club and the Hatherly Country Club in Scituate, MA. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Ken will be remembered as a generous, caring, sincere, and charismatic man with a sense of humor who would do anything for family. Ken remained close to his brothers, Roy and Richard. He continued his mentorship and coaching to many during his journey through life. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Concetta (Connie), his brother, Dr. Richard Branton, his children, Denise A. Fassnacht-McDonald, Deborah C. Bordonaro, Dr. Kenneth R. Branton Jr., Patricia L. Mann, and Kimberly J. DeMarino and grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Dean, Lauren, Talia and Tessa. Ken is pre-deceased by his father, LeRoy Branton, his mother, Angelina (Troilo) Branton, sister, Sadie Branton, and brother, LeRoy Branton Jr. The Branton family would like to thank Ken's physicians, nurses, home health aides, physical therapists, and Beacon Hospice for the excellent care that he received. A special thanks to Scituate Etrusco Associates. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 14 Edward Foster Rd., Scituate Harbor, MA. BRESKY Jr., OTTO - Newton  
BRESKY, Otto, Jr. (92) of Naples, Florida and formerly of Newton, MA died peacefully on April 17, 2016 at Avow Hospice in Naples, FL with his beloved wife, Mary Lou Bresky, by his side. He was born on September 2, 1923 to Otto Bresky and Mynette (Tannenbaum) Bresky. He is pre-deceased by siblings, H. Harry Bresky and Marjorie (Bresky) Shifman. Otto attended Choate Preparatory School and Yale University before his stateside military service in the Air Force during World War II. He then continued his education at Babson College. Otto began his business career at Rodney Milling Co. after college and rose to senior executive officer and principal shareholder of what is now known as Seaboard Corporation, a Fortune 500 food and transportation company. He retired in 1984 after nearly 40 years of service in commercial sales and executive management. Otto married Connie Getz of Chicago, IL in 1950. They had two children, Amy Bresky, of Southern Pines, NC and Jill Bresky, of Cambridge, MA. He was a remarkable husband and caretaker when Connie contracted polio in 1955. He lovingly cared for her at home for the rest of her life until her death in 1975. His dedication to his family and desire to create a happy home life in these years was unwavering. Otto found enduring love again with Mary Lou Stack of Plymouth, MA and they married in 1983. Mary Lou and Otto were inseparable, living first in Newton, MA, then on to Plymouth, MA, St. Martin, Punta Gorda, FL and Naples, FL. They loved building homes in these locations, and created warm environments that they shared with family and many friends. Otto was also a caring father figure for Mary Lou's children and will be deeply missed by all of them: Frank Phelps and his wife, Kathryn Phelps, of Punta Gorda, FL; Ron Phelps of Punta Gorda, FL: David Phelps and his partner, Deborah Sloan, of Naples, FL; and Dan Phelps and his wife, Priscilla Phelps, of Punta Gorda, FL. Otto was an exceptional and diverse athlete, from playing hockey at Yale, to adult pursuits of surfing, yoga, running, cycling, touch football, swimming and golf. He loved sports cars and motorcycles, and owned one of the first amphicars in the 60's. Dogs were always a part of his life, from developing the miniature Daschund breed in the early 50's, to an array of much loved dogs large and small throughout his life, including his last Yorkie, Buddee. A celebration of Otto's life is planned in September in Naples, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Avow Hospice in Naples, FL or Yorkie Friends Rescue in Cocoa Beach, FL.
