Connors of Brownfield, ME and the late Dolores M. (Green) Connors. Brother of John T. "Jackie" Connors of Sharon and Michael C. Connors of Mansfield.Cherished uncle of Maura Connors, Katherine Connors, Daniel Connors, Kevin Connors, Lauren Connors, and Erin Connors. Also survived by his God Children Gregory Niethold, Julianne Connors and his devoted clan of cousins. CROSBY, Ruth E. (Turner) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 following an extended period of declining health. A celebration of her life will be held on Ruth's birthday, in St. John's Episcopal Church, 297 Lowell Ave., Newtonville, on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the upper hall. Ruth was a loving and cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard A. Crosby for 55 years. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Stewart of Littleton and her husband Rod, daughter, Barbara Kitchener of Plymouth, her grandchildren, Jill Stewart of Natick, Dr. Kurt Stewart and his wife Rebecca of CT. Ruth also leaves two great-grandsons, Jack Crosby Stewart and Ryan Davidson Stewart of CT. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Peter Kitchener and her parents, John F. and Isabelle (Megowan) Turner. Ruth lived most of her life in Newton and was a volunteer extraordinaire serving Lasell College, and Newton Wellesley Hospital among many other local organizations. Crowley, Paul S. 64, of Tewksbury passed away on Saturday, April 18th at the Tewksbury Hospital. Paul was born in Boston and raised in Somerville the son of the late Daniel L. and Helen T. (Hourihan) Crowley. Paul is survived by his son, Michael Crowley of Stoneham, MA; brother, Daniel Crowley and his wife Anita of Andover, sister, Elaine Crowley and her husband Ralph Bryant of Somerville and nieces and nephews, Stephen Crowley, Lisa Andrade and Brian Crowley. CURLEY, Francis W. Lifelong resident of Malden, on April 15, 2015.Loving husband of the late Eleanor (Tamasi) Curley. Dear father of Mary Ann Curley, Eleanor Nugent, Frances Curley, Alice Curley, William Curley, and Patricia Orsogna; loving grandpa to 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; dear brother to George, Paul, Michael, and the late John and James Curley and the late Alice Medensky. Curry, Philip E., Sr. 88, of Marblehead, MA, formerly of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Fallon. Philip is survived by his three children Philip, Jr. (Jane) Curry of Franktown, CO, Elizabeth "Lisa" Curry Palmer of Marblehead, MA, Ellyn Curry Losada of Glenfield, NY, two granddaughters, Samantha Curry and Nicole Losada, along with many nieces and nephews. Philip was a Veteran of WW II and the Korean War. A private Memorial Service will be held in Marblehead. DOHERTY, Eugene D.W. DN Age 80, of Arlington, VA, died April 14, 2015 at Virginia Hospital after a sudden illness. Gene leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Katherine (MacMaster) Doherty. He is also survived by his sister, Marcella Smith of Buffalo, NY. His two brothers, James and Edward, predeceased him. He is survived by his seven children, Anne (and Thom) Crook, Woody Doherty, John Doherty, Amy Doherty, Kate (and Mike) Bia, Krista Doherty and Kara Doherty. Gene was the devoted grandfather of Ben and Lindsay Crook, and Charlotte, Caroline, and Louise Bia. Gene was born in Winchester, MA and settled in Brookline, MA to raise his family before relocating to Arlington, VA in 1995. After graduating from in Delbarton School in New Jersey, Gene was inducted into the United States Army in November 1954. He had a career in transportation sales in the Boston area and began a career in government in Boston with the US General Service Administration. Eventually drawn to a warmer climate where he could enjoy his passion for golf nearly year round, Gene and Kaye headed south where he retired at the age of 70 from the Department of Defense, Washington, DC. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16), WELLESLEY, Wednesday, April 22, at 8:45am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius Church, Chestnut Hill at 10am.
