Devoted mother of Sister Patricia Burns, SOLT, of TX, Paula Paiz and her husband Jose of NM, Sheila Magnan and her husband Raymond of Winthrop and her special daughter Sister Eileen Doherty, SOLT, of TX. Dear sister of the late Charles and Curtis Gundersen. Loving grandmother to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, on Fri., Sept 4, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Byron, Edward J. Jr. Of Eastham MA, formerly of Kingston NH, Marlboro and Waltham MA, passed away at home on Sunday August 23, 2015 at the age of 72. He was married to the former Martha O'Neil and had three children and one grandchild. A Celebration of Life Service will be held September 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Kingston 1686 House in Kingston NH. CAMPBELL, James P. (60) of Boston, beloved son of the late Rita G. Campbell of Cambridge, MA and much loved husband of Jeffrey Sutfin of Boston, MA. He is survived by his sister Rita Dinn of Boxford, MA, his sister Patricia Sayers and husband John of Boxford, MA, his niece Jennafer Lyons, husband Caleb, and their daughter Aislin of Oberageri, Switzerland, niece Autumn Dolan and husband Christopher of Boxford, MA, nephew J. Martin Dinn of Seattle, WA, nephew Timothy J. Sayers of Beverly, MA, brother-in-law James Sutfin of Winthrop, MA. He will be greatly missed, remembered fondly, and loved forever. CAPUTO, GERALD ANTHONY - Concord  
Caputo, Gerald Anthony Age 72, of Concord, formerly of Winchester, passed away September 3, 2015. He was born in January of 1943 to the late Joseph L. and Pauline (Kotosky) Caputo in Chelsea, MA. Mr. Caputo attended Belmont Hill and Worcester Academy before being accepted to the prestigious architecture program at Rhode Island School of Design. After his education, Jerry worked for his father's construction company, J.L. Caputo Construction and was involved in some of Massachusetts' most significant projects, including the Charles River Locks. Jerry's truest passion was for furniture making. Over the years, he has built beautiful pieces for friends and family who will treasure them as his lasting legacy.Predeceased by his brother, Joseph L. Caputo, Jr. and his parents, Jerry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher M. and Julie Ryan Caputo of Nashville, TN, his sister and brother-in-law, Miriam T. and B. Robert Talanian, his nieces, Lynne Talanian Mangalo and Robyn Talanian Burns and nephew, David Talanian as well as grand-nieces Lauren Adams and Alexandra Mangalo Hafeez and grand-nephew, Michael Mangalo all of Cape Cod. Memorial celebrations and interment will be private. Cate, Dorothy, A. 76 of Scituate, passed away on 8/2/2015 surrounded by the love, comfort and care of family at her daughter's home in Englewood, Fl. She was the devoted wife for 51 years of Stephen Cate and loving mother of Earl and his wife Joanne of Weston, Elizabeth and her husband Michael Gerroir of Andover, and Barbara and her husband Neil Jackson of Englewood, Fl. Cherished Nana of: Sophie, Noah, Milo and Ella Cate; Catelyn and Taylor Johnson, Kaitlin and Erin Gerroir; and Jessica and Jonathan Jackson. She is also survived by seven siblings: Frank Forward, Beverly Forward, Jean Forward, Gladys Yeager, Janet Tanner, Phyllis Forward and Joan McGowan. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Emma, sister Maxine Stockman and brother Robert Forward. Dorothy grew up in Saugus one of ten children, all of whom were to go on to secondary schooling. She graduated with her RN from Melrose-Wakefield Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. Her favorite years of nursing were spent at Children's Hospital in the neonatal ward. Sewing was a favorite activity carried throughout her life from the Easter fashions for her siblings to her beloved quilting that she shared not only with her sisters Janet and Gladys but with "sew" many on the South Shore from her venue at the Cohasset Farmer's Market. She was the first to give her time to care for children of family and friends when called for. Flowers and gardening were also a passion that won her a blue ribbon for her Dahlias. Her heart was full of love for life and her presence will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial service September 13th at 4pm held at St.Luke's Episcopal Church in Scituate, Reverend Raymond Low officiating, and a memorial gathering and reception will be held directly following at the River Club on Border Rd in Scituate, family and friends are invited. Please consider in lieu of flowers a donation in her memory to the Jimmy Fund.
