Muise, Robert T. "Tim" Of Mendon, formerly of Waltham, December 11, 2014. Husband of the late Mary Evelyn (Clarkin) Muise. Father of Roy J. Muise and his wife, Kathleen, of Medway, Timothy P. Muise of Brockton, Barbara A. Round and her husband, Norman, of Mendon and the late Roberta M. Despres. Father-in-law of Bernard J. Despres of Waltham. Grandfather of Jason Despres, Danielle, Jenny, Rosie, Annie, Stephanie, Grace and Shawn Muise, Ashely, David and Dylan Round and the late Bernard J. Despres, Jr. Brother of Charles Muise of Framingham, Marion Butler of Waltham, Pauline Quinlan of NJ and the late Chester and George Muise. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. MULCAHY, JOAN ISKYAN - Scituate  
MULCAHY, Joan Iskyan Of Scituate, MA, formerly of Forest Hills Gardens, NY, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving children on December 4, 2014 at the age of 87. Joan was the wife of the late John R. "Biff" Mulcahy of Scituate. She is survived by her four children, Judith Mulcahy, Linda Adams and her husband John, Ellen J. Mulcahy, and John Mulcahy and his wife Patricia all of Scituate. Loving sister of the late Bernadette White of Florida, the late John Isykan of New York, and Consuelo Faulkenburg of Florida. MULLANE, Neal A. Sr. (Lt. BFD E-21 retired, Veteran US Navy Seabees) of Dorchester, December 12, 2014 age 71. Son of the late William D. & Laurentine A. (Waggett) Mullane. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine M. (Regan) Mullane and the loving father of Neal A. Mullane Jr. (Capt. BFD L-18) and his wife Gianna of Dorchester and Suzanne A. Gillis and her husband Paul (BFD L-17) of Dorchester. Neal was the devoted brother of William "Bo" H. Mullane (BPD Detective Lt. Retired) and his wife Patricia of South Boston, Janice "Sissy" Mullane (former President of the Boston Meter Maid Assoc.) of Quincy, Jacqueline Miner and her husband Arthur of Hanson, A. Michael Mullane (BFD E-21, 3rd District Vice President of the International Association of Fire Fighters, and a Vice President of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO) of Quincy, and Ann Diodati of Rowley. He was the beloved grandfather of Emily R. Gillis and Conor J. Gillis. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, from 3-8 pm in the McHoul Family Funeral Home, 354 Adams Street, Dorchester. Funeral Mass in St. Brendan's Church Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 10 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. MUMFORD, NANCY CAREY - Westwood  
MUMFORD, Nancy Carey Beloved wife of George Saltonstall Mumford died unexpectedly on December 10th. She was the daughter of Bayne Hill Carey and Harry M. Carey, a former Director of the Red Feather Agency and The United Funds in Providence and Boston. Nancy was born February 12 in Forty Fort, PA and grew up in Providence, RI and Wellesley, MA. She attended the Tenacre School, Dana Hall, and Finch College. Nancy and George raised their family on Pegan Hill in Dover. In recent years, they had moved to Fox Hill Village in Westwood, MA. Nancy was a generous and loving friend, mother, and wife who enjoyed life and people, and liberally gave of herself. She was on the Board of the Associated Day Care Centers, worked with women in the Women's prison in Framingham; she was one of the original supporters of Emily's List and was active with the League of Women Voters, marching on Beacon Hill for its 75th anniversary. And, Nancy tirelessly supported the Charles River School. She was on the Vestry of St. Dunstan's Church in Dover and she volunteered for the Walker School. Nancy was a member of the Dedham Country and Polo Club, The Chilton Club, The Vincent Club, The Junior League of Boston, the Wellesley College Club, the Noanet Garden Club. Nancy and George were members of The Trustees of Reservation, the Massachusetts Audubon Society, and supporters of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Planned Parenthood. Nancy leaves behind her husband, George, of nearly 65 years, daughter, Barbara (Tom) Kingery and Liz Forshay, sons, Robert (Sarah Korjeff) Mumford and George Mumford, as well as grandchildren, Julie Hand, Jennifer (Matt) Muldoon, Ben Forshay, Abigail Forshay, Elaine Mumford, Alexis Mumford, Parker Mumford, Rachel Mumford, and great granddaughter, Claire Muldoon. Nancy also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Patricia (Harry) Carey and brother-in-law, James G. Mumford as well as many nieces, nephews, and their children. She also leaves Pattie Handloss and her sons, Edward, Peter, and Scooter. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Harry Carey and John Carey, sister-in-law, Janet Carey, brother-in-law, Robert L. Mumford, and sister-in-law, Alice Mumford Jacobs. Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and by her loving friends at Fox Hill Village and devoted friends from near and far. She will be remembered for her curiosity, beauty, her kindness and generosity of spirit, her love of tennis and bridge, and traveling, dancing, the beach, and animals-and for her willingness to speak her truth. MURPHY, MARY ELIZABETH - Framingham  
Murphy, Mary Elizabeth Mary Elizabeth (Casey) Murphy, died after a brief illness on December 14th at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. Born in Dorchester on September 8, 1927, she grew up in West Roxbury. She graduated from Roslindale High School, and Trinity College for Women in Washington D.C. She earned her Masters in English at Boston College and her Doctorate in Education at Harvard. She married Phillip J. Murphy and moved to Framingham in1952 where they raised a family and became active in local and national politics. She leaves her son Edward J. Murphy and his wife Anne, her daughter Marianne Wilson and her husband Peter, and her daughter Carol Murphy. As the family matriarch, Mary sent birthday cards to each of her 12 nieces and nephews, their children and her godchildren. She leaves her beloved grandchildren: Maggie, Ned, Caroline, Peter, Nikki, and Malia as well as two great-grandchildren: Rory and Molly. Mary was a tireless advocate for her community and for Democratic causes. She taught English at Framingham State University from 1962-2002 where she was also President of the Teacher's Union. She was a mentor not only to her students, but also to those who chose to follow her into the political realm. She was a Framingham Town Meeting member, served on the School Committee, was President of the Framingham Historical Society, was active in the League of Women Voters and the Democratic Town Committee. She was a Democratic Presidential delegate in Chicago (1968), San Francisco (1980), and New York (1984). There will be a private burial service for family members. A celebration of Mary's life will take place at the Village Hall on the Framingham Centre Common on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Framingham History Center, P.O. Murray, William C. Of Newton, Tyngsboro, and Franklin, age 66, died Dec. 16 after a long illness. He was brother of Linda LeBlanc of Auburndale, Charlie Murray of Dedham, Michael Murray of Southboro, Richard Murray of Newburyport, Patricia Tolland and Deb Buttkus of Franklin, and the late Diane Murray.
