ABRAMS, Tatyana N. 16, of Avon, passed away on January 27, 2015. She was a student at Avon Middle-High School. Daughter of Danya E. Sr. and Deanna (Turnbull) Abrams of Avon and Lisa Pettiford of Brockton; sister of Christian, Danya Jr., Jolisa and Jakayla; niece of Aaron Shepherd; granddaughter of Clayton and Linda Turnbull of Boston, Sonya and Harold Williams of Boston, Beryl Pettiford of Worcester, Garry and Christine Pettiford of Brockton and the late Lacrista Abrams; great-granddaughter of the late Grant Abrams. ABRUZZESE, Catherine (Cammarota) Of West Roxbury, January 20, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. Abruzzese. Devoted mother of Lawrence J. Abruzzese and his wife Mary Jane of Norwood, Rev. Msgr. John A. Abruzzese of Rome, Italy, and Nancy A. Desilets and her husband Kenneth of Westford. Also survived by 4 loving grandchildren and 4 loving great grandchildren. AHERN, DANIEL - Arlington  
AHERN, Daniel 68, passed away suddenly Friday, January 9, 2015, at his home in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was raised in Arlington. He was the oldest son of the late John "Red" and Dorothea (Murphy) Ahern. Dan was also predeceased by his sister Terry Spellman. He is survived by his wife June Ahern of Florida, his brother Tim and his wife Linda of Woburn; his sister Marie Ahern of Marshfield; his sister Kathy and her husband John Hughes of Weymouth; his brother Fr. Jack Ahern of Dorchester; his sister Irene and her husband Rich Cowdell of Lynn; his brother-in-law Bruce Spellman of Woburn; Dan also is survived by his children Sean and Ruth Ahern of Arizona; stepsons John Graham and Donald Cowling of the United Kingdom, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Margaret's Church of Blessed Teresa Parish, 800 Columbia Road in Dorchester on Saturday, February 7th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Florida.

AHERN, M. KATHLYN - Wollaston  
AHERN, M. Kathlyn "Kay" (nee Kelly) 90, of St. Petersburg, FL died on January 18, 2015. Kay, a long time resident on Sachem St. in the Wollaston area of Quincy, later lived in Leisure Woods in Rockland, and in 2010 moved to assisted living at Bon Secours in St Petersburg, FL. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1989, shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer. She is survived by her three children: Joseph (Kathleen) of St Petersburg, Paul (Jill) of Bradenton, FL and Penobscot, ME; and Kathlyn (John) Malcosky of Key West, FL; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Ohrenberger of Scituate; and sister-in-law, Nan Kelly of Weymouth. She was a graduate of St. Gregory High School and St. Gregory Business School. She was an active parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church in Rockland; an active member of the Rockland Democratic Town Committee, and served as Trustee of the Rockland Memorial Library. She will be interred with her husband. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. AHERN, MARY E. (MCBRIEN) - Stoughton  
Ahern, Mary E. (McBrien) Card game master, raisin bread baker, friend to everyone, family rock, died Saturday, January 24th. Born October 24, 1926 and raised in West Roxbury, Mary graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. There she was assigned to write to WWII soldier, (late) Joseph G. Ahern. Correspondence began, and so did the start of their forever love. The family became residents of Stoughton in 1959, and many happy years were filled with neighborhood parties, conversations over coffee, and raising children. Mrs. Ahern would tell tired moms at restaurants that they were doing a good job. She kept everyone honest, and brought out the best in so many. Her spirit is carried on by her children, Gerald J. Ahern of Stoughton, and Carol A. Langford and her husband Robert of Medway, as well as her treasured granddaughters Emily E. Langford, Colleen M. Langford, and Stephanie J. Langford, and her sister Barbara J. Betts of Stoughton. Mary is also survived by 3 generations of nieces and nephews, whose annual Thanksgiving get together began 37 years ago in honor of her late son, Stephen J. Ahern. Mary is now reunited with her beloved siblings Hugh "Frank" McBrien, Anna McFague, Patricia Connors, and Paul J. McBrien. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rte. 27), STOUGHTON. ALTMAN, Gerald Of Newton, died peacefully at his home at the age of 92 on Friday, 30 January 2015. Beloved husband of Estelle Black Altman for 66 years; loving father of Karen Kopelman and husband Bruce, Mark Altman and wife Joan, and Bruce Altman and wife Laura; loving grandfather of Douglas and Nicole Kopelman, Adam and Michelle Kopelman, Samantha Kopelman, Alexander and Harry Altman, Grace and Henry Altman; and great-grandfather of Sophia and Dylan Kopelman. He served in World War II in the Army Air Force as a radar weather officer in the China Burma India Theater and was a prominent patent and trademark attorney in Boston for 60 years. A service will be held at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Sunday, 1 February 2015 at 12 noon. Loving father of son, Theodore & his wife, Peggy of Cheshire, CT; daughter Kathleen Osborne & her husband Richard of Greensboro, GA; Grandfather of Timothy Andreadis & Katherine Paronich, her husband Michael; great-grandfather of Cameron Paronich. Stepsons: Nicholas Micros, his wife Karin & children Katia & Jonas; Michael Micros, his wife Monica & son Reno; Steven Micros, his wife Deanna. Brother of Leon Andreadis & his wife Irene of Philadelphia,PA; sisters Irene Papadopolos & her husband George of So. Yarmouth, MA; Mary Critikos & her husband Theodore of So. Weymouth,MA; cousin James N. Andreadis & his wife Catherine of Huntington, NY. Tony was a graduate of Chelsea High School and earned a B.A. at Boston University. He was employed at Filene's for 17 years and at Striderite Corp for 17 years. Upon his retirement, Tony volunteered as elected Town Meeting Member in Brookline; Board member of Brookline Greenspace Alliance & co-founder of the Chestnut Hill Village Alliance. He was a long-time member of the West Suburban YMCA and an aerobics instructor to the 55 Plus classes. He loved to dance & cruise with his wife Fay. Throughout his lifetime, he was a member of 3 Greek Orthodox Churches: Boston, Cape Cod and Braintree. Andrick, Pauline E. Age 94, a resident of Chelmsford and former resident of Newton died on Jan. 25, 2015 in Chelmsford. She was the wife of the late Stanley A. Andrick. She was born in Boston on March 9, 1920 a daughter of the late Orville and Mary Ellen (Qualters) Dulac. She was a graduate of Mount Auburn School of Nursing in Cambridge. Prior to her retirement, Pauline worked as a registered nurse for 40 years at New England Medical Center in Boston. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Jackson and her husband Barry of Chelmsford; her son in law, Alan Pajak of Westford; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson of Chelmsford, Laurie Kent and her husband Geoff of Delmar, NY, David Jackson and his wife Erin of New Gloucester, ME, Christopher Pajak and his wife Erin of Delmar, NY, and Andrew Pajak and his wife Christina of Gainesville, VA; 7 great grandchildren, Haley Kent, Ryan Kent, Wyatt Jackson, Brendan Pajak, Jason Pajak, Andrew Pajak and Emily Pajak; and a sister, Dorothy Campbell of Glastonbury, CT. She was also the mother of the late Carolyn Pajak.
