SISTER AGNES MELLY, CSJ (SISTER FRANCIS CLAIRE) A beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston for 67 years, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Daughter of the late Thomas W. and Mary Ellen (Mogan) Melly. Survived by her sister Anne Doherty, brother, Francis X. Melly, sister-in-law, Julie Melly and brother-in-law Paul Devlin, also sister of the late Thomas Melly, Mary Devlin and Sister Catherine Melly, CSJ. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Agatha, Milton; Our Lady Help of Christians, Newton; Sacred, Newton Centre; St. Ann, Wollaston; and St. Raphael, Medford. Sister Agnes also served in Educational Development at the Boston Archdiocese School Office; as Parish Minister at St. Richard Parish, Danvers; as Assistant Administrator at Catholic Charities, Boston; and Coordinator of Catholic Pastoral Services at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen; Malden Hospital, Malden; and Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett. Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, 3:30-6:00p.m. Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass. Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany, Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick. Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, FRAMINGHAM.
