SHARGABIAN, Alfred J. Age 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Florida on Monday, May 13, 2013. He was the son of the late Alfred V. Shargabian and brother of the late Donna M. Shargabian. Alfred was born in Boston on May 21, 1949 and was a graduate of Mission High School in Roxbury. Alfred proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a great contributor to the youth of Mission Hill in earlier years, including mentoring kids and working alongside them with the Little League of Mission Hill with his great friend Franny Ward. He has been a resident of Lady Lake, FL for the past 10 years and was a former resident of Mansfield and Boston. Alfred was a member of the Carman's Union and was employed as a yardsman for the MBTA until his retirement in 2002. He was a member of the Boston Lodge of Elks #10, American Legion of FL, a VFW Gold Circle Member and a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle. Beloved son of Loretta R. (Doyle) Shargabian. Loving brother of Debbi Crimmins and her husband Stephen of Mansfield and Diane Inglis and her husband Richard of Ft. Myers, FL. Devoted uncle of Christina Hondromihalis and her husband Kevin McSherry, Alyssa Ruggieri and her husband Steven and Vanessa Hondromihalis. Great uncle of Sofia Ruggieri and Ava McSherry. Former brother in law of George Hondromihalis of FL. Also survived by three aunts and two uncles. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. Foxborough.
