Former City of Lynn, Mayor Antonio J. "Tony" Marino, 92 years of Lynn died Sunday, November 17, 2013 in the Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Hospital in Bedford after a long illness. He was the longest serving Mayor in the City of Lynn He is the husband of Mrs. Ingrid (Graff) Marino. He was the son of the late Emilio and Elettra (Senatore) Marino. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Frances Vocino of Lynn, Mary Russo of Lynn, Antoinette "Ann" Theo and her husband Peter of Swampscott, four brothers, Dominic Marino and his wife Maria of Lynn, Peter Marino and his wife Rose of Peabody, Joseph Marino and his wife Josephine of Lynn, and Michael Marino of Lynn. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He is the brother of the late Ida Rowe, Carmen J, Enrico and Antonetta Marino. His funeral will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 9:00 AM from the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, (Rte 129) LYNN, followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn at 10:00 AM. Burial in the WWII Veterans Lot in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
