CHARLES F. WHITE Jr.

WHITE, Charles F. "Charlie", Jr. 73, of Norwood, passed away on February 20, 2013. Mr. White was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. A graduate of Boston State College and Bridgewater State College, he taught History and Child Psychology at Randolph High School until 1981, when he became a painting contractor. He then became a massage therapist and ran the Blue Hill Spa until retirement. He had many friends and a great sense of humor, was an avid reader, crossword enthusiast, and competitive Words with Friends player with many loyal followers. Beloved husband of Nancy (Price) White; loving father of Charles V. White and his wife Lorna of Hanson, Veronica M. White of Readville, Stephan J. White and his wife Margaret of Hingham, Christine M. Ciavarra and her husband Robert of Medway, and Matthew J. White and his wife Rachel of Franklin; cherished grandfather of Nathan, Noah, Michal, Stephan Jr., Harrison, Leah, Katherine, Nicholas, Hannah, Madelyn, Julia and Alexander; devoted brother of Catherine Carpenter Palmer and her husband David of Canton, Mary Gulrich and her husband Steve of Eastham, and the late Margaret White. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte 1A), Norwood on Monday, February 25th from 4:00-8:00pm.
