ROLBEIN, David Lazar 97, of Newton, on October 25, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Claire (Fisher) Rolbein for 62 years. Devoted father of Ethel Furst and her husband Gary of South Boston and Orleans, Seth Rolbein and Ellen LeBow of Wellfleet, and Faye Hark and her husband Philip of Brookline. Proud and affectionate grandfather of Leah Furst Alani and her husband Eric, Jacob Furst and his wife Kate and Joshua Hark. Loving great-grandfather of Asher Davis Alani, Delilah Rose Alani and Eve Calla Furst. Devoted brother of the late Sigmund Rolbein and the late Janice Rolbein. The family is grateful to the Lasell Village community, the team at Hospice of the Good Shepherd and David's devoted companion, Michael Amoetang. Services at Temple Shalom, 175 Temple St., West Newton on Sunday October 27 at 2:00 pm. Following interment at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, (Baker St., West Roxbury), the family will be at the home of Ethel and Gary Furst, 141 Dorchester Ave., South Boston, MA until 9:00 pm Sunday and at Lasell Village Library, Monday 1-3pm.
