EDWARDS, David O. 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Florida, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness on July 25, 2013. David, from Skagway, Alaska, moved to Milton, MA in 1978, where he worked for the US Postal Service before retiring after several years of service. He was an avid sports fan and loyal Red Sox and Patriots supporter. He loved dogs, RVing, and spending time with this family. David was a devoted husband, father, and loving grandfather. He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 36 years, Janice; son, Brendan and his wife, Rosie Flanders of Saugerties, NY; son Sean and his wife, Stephanie of Milton, MA; daughter, Sheila and her husband, Todd Duclos of Lithia, FL; brothers, Alan Edwards of GA and John Edwards of Skagway, AK; sister, Shirley Hughes of Lexington, TN; three grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Services will take place in the Milton area at a later date.
