ELIZABETH ANN BLACKWOOD

BLACKWOOD, Elizabeth Ann Of Newton Upper Falls, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, Feb. 12th, 2013, in her residence, at the age of 80. Born on August 31, 1932 in Newton. Beloved daughter of the late Wallace Edgar Blackwood and Elizabeth Catherine (Gibbons) Blackwood, Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of Newton. She was a graduate of Newton High School. Elizabeth is survived by her loving & devoted siblings, June M. Coffey and her husband Bernard of Millis, Reverend Wallace E. Blackwood of Swampscott, Paul J. Blackwood and his wife Jeanne of Coral Springs, FL, and her sister-in-law, Cheryl Blackwood of Newton. In addition, she is survived by many cherished nieces & nephews. Dear sister of the late Douglas Blackwood. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM, on Monday morning, Feb. 18th at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Elizabeth's life at Saint Bernard's Church, 1523 Washington Street, West Newton at 10:30 a.m. Interment Newton Cemetery. Visiting Hours on Sunday, Feb. 17th from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants on duty.
