HYNES, Francis (Mickey) Of Hudson N.H. formerly of Brighton, Ma died on February 1, 2014. He died peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was born on March 18th,1934 in Brighton, Ma. He was the son of the late Frank & Margaret Hynes of Brighton. The loving husband of Mary (Ventola) Hynes for 57 years. He has 6 children; John Hynes & wife Deborah of Marboro Ma, Kenneth Hynes & wife Jacqueline of Manchester, NH, Gary Hynes & wife Teri of Peabody Ma, Frank Hynes and wife Diane of Billerica Ma, Mary McCluskey & husband John of Hope Me, Karen Barry & fiancé Bob Sikes of Westborough, Ma. He leaves behind a sister, Maureen Kilgallon & her husband Ronald of Mansfield Ma. Predeceased by his siblings; Paul and Robert Hynes, Virginia Cahill, Phyliss Bradbury, and Janice Hynes. He has 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was raised and educated in Brighton Ma. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war
with the 332nd Engineering Aviation Battalion in the West Indies. He was a tractor trailer driver for Xpedx, formerly Dowd Paper Co. for 43 years and a proud member of the Teamsters Local 379. He was a former usher for our Lady Of the Presentation Church in Brighton Ma. He enjoyed gardening, golf, and football. He also enjoyed going on family vacations every summer and looked forward to playing golf with his family. We have a lot of happy memories and will miss him very much. He's made it to "The top of his Mountain!" Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, February 6th from 4-8pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson, NH. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated the following morning beginning at 9:30am at Blessed John XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson. Burial will take place at 1:45 pm at Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers please make donations to N.H.
