GEORGE CROWLEY Sr.

CROWLEY, George, Sr. Of Watertown, formerly of Somerville, MA, March 21, 2013, at the age of 53 years, passed away suddenly at home. Beloved husband of Mildred (Sullivan) Crowley, his loving and devoted wife of 28 years. Loving father of his son, George Crowley, Jr., a student at Babson College in Wellesley, MA and his daughter, Maura Jane Crowley, a student at The Rivers School in Weston, MA. He loved his wife and children very much and they loved him too. He also loved his dear mother, Mary Crowley, formerly of Somerville, now residing in Reading and he loved his brother, Thomas Crowley and his wife Kathy, also formerly of Somerville, now of Reading. He is survived by many relatives, including his many inlaws who loved him and thought he was a wonderful man: John Briston Sullivan Jr. and his wife Gladys of Bedford, NH, Jane Sullivan of West Palm Beach, FL, Mary Barbara Sullivan of Cambridge, Helene (Lee) Keating and her husband Ron of Arlington, Patricia Graham and her husband Rick of North Palm Beach, Nancy Sullivan of Falmouth, Thomas Sullivan and his wife Dede of Bedford, NH, Robert Sullivan and his wife Sandy of Bedford, NH. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. George had many loyal and longterm friends from St. Clements High School in Somerville and they will truly miss his friendship and laughter. He was a graduate of Suffolk University and Southern New England School of Law. He was a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He practiced law for many years and was a successful real estate attorney. He loved sports, especially watching his son and daughter play team sports for their schools. He successfully completed the Boston Marathon twice. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church 124 Common St., Belmont at 9am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm.
