Reddick, Inez McAllister
Age 99, a resident of Shrewsbury and formerly of Framingham, died Tuesday October 1, 2013 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and was the last surviving child of 13 born to the late Zack and Lizzie (Turner) McAllister. Inez was the wife of 20 years to the late William Reddick who died in 1956. She worked for many years in the quality control dept. at Raytheon Corp. Inez was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Framingham. She enjoyed spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was adored by many for her sweet and wonderful sense of humor and she loved everyone as if they were her family. She is survived by her daughters, Amelia Lopes of Ashland, Veronica Metivier of Shrewsbury: her grandchildren, Michelle Miller of Ashland, Joel Lopes, Jr. M.D. of Natick, Stephen Lopes of Worcester; her great grandchildren, Sydney Miller and Jordan Miller both of Ashland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10 AM in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 3 Maple St. (Main St. @ Buckminster Sq.), Framingham. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mattapan. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham.
