Martin, Dr. John Died after a long illness on Thursday, February 13 in Boston. Born in Perth, Australia, John earned his Ph.D. in Marketing at Northwestern University
, an M.B.A. in Marketing at UCLA
, and his B.Ec. (Honors) from the University of Western Australia. John served on the faculties at Babson College, the Boston University School of Management and at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In 1984, he co-founded the Honomichl Top 50 market research and consulting firm Chadwick Martin Bailey, where he served as CEO and Chairman. John is survived by his beloved wife Marion, their daughter Bronwyn and son Travis. John will be remembered for his outside the box sense of humor, his brilliant mind and his genuine caring for others. He was the ultimate teacher, a mentor to his students, employees, clients, and anyone else he happened to meet.
