While remembering all of Leon's contributions to child psychiatry/psychology, and expressing heartfelt condolences to Carola and all of his family, we must remember Leon's great sense of humor that so often entertained his friends.

Dr. Eisenberg was a mentor, friend and a truly inspirational child pscyhiatrist. I shall miss his wisdom, but his published work endures.

Leon was and still is a true model... while inimitable, in his unique combination of wisdom and permanent curiosity, of sensitivity to the plight of the fellow human being and clarity of purpose.
