Walba, Leonard J. "Papa" Of Lynn, formerly of Malden and Revere, age 64, died at his home on Thursday April 3, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, he was the husband of Linda (Greatorex) Walba. Born and raised in Malden the son of the late Levy and Doris (Condit) Walba, graduate of Waltham Vocational High School, US Army Veteran of Vietnam War, former owner of Enterprise Machine and Welding, of Malden, also a machinist at Metal Spinners, Malden, enjoyed hot rods, especially his 69 Dodge Coronet "Rolling Thunder", gardening and vacations. Loved spending time with his dog Leo, and most especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 children; Robin L. Hoggard, of Lynn, and Robert Greatorex and his wife Michelle, of Salem, NH, 3 grandchildren; Madison Hoggard, Daniel Powers, both of Lynn, and Katelynn Greatorex, of Salem NH, a brother James Bjork, of Saugus, and 3 sisters; Michelle Lebon, of Waltham, Betty Cuppernell, of Waltham, and Mimi Kelly. Funeral on Monday at 11am in the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte 129), Lynn. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hour's Sunday 4pm-8pm.
