CALLAHAN, Mary A. Of Quincy, age 85, died peacefully, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at home. Mary was a former sister with the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston for twenty-five years. She was a math teacher in the archdiocesan school system for many years and also taught at Milton High School for twenty-five years. She later taught at Newbury College and Massasoit Community College and has been retired many years. Beloved daughter of the late Jeremiah J. and Marie F. (Driscoll) Callahan. Devoted sister of Sister Helen Callahan, C.S.J. of Quincy, Leo F. Callahan and his wife Arleen of Hampton, VA and the late John W. Callahan.Loving aunt of Ann Lohr George and her husband Abraham of OH, John W. Callahan and his wife Serena of PA. Cherished great aunt of Brendan and Ian Callahan, Aidan, Ashley and Aaron George. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, QUINCY, Saturday, June 30th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph's Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 o'clock.
