MARY BETH FALLON

FALLON, Mary Beth Of Scituate passed away August 24, 2013 at the age of 60 after a long illness. Beth was the beloved younger daughter of the late Peter and May Fallon of Scituate. She was the devoted sister of Peter and his wife Ellen of Scituate; Jane Wisleder and her husband Bob of Hingham; Tucker Fallon of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and the late Billy Fallon of Scituate. She was aunt to Peter and Jennifer Fallon, Christine Gardiner Burke, Debbie Wisleder, Patti Sullivan, as well as to many great-nieces and nephews. Last, but certainly not least, she has left her constant companion and beloved, Rags. Mary Beth was born in Milton, but as a young teenager moved to Scituate where she attended Scituate schools. Living across from the harbor, she grew up on boats, worked on boats throughout her adulthood in Florida and the Caribbean, and never lost her love of the outdoors. If she couldnt make it to St. Thomas or Key West in the dead of winter, she could be found skiing at Loon Mountain. Many Scituate residents may remember Mary Beth best from her years as the bar manager at the Barker Tavern. Cheers may have made it famous, but the tag Where everybody knows your name really belonged to Beth at the Barker Tavern. Enter once and she knew your name and made you feel welcome for evermore.
