Pamela Jacks Agisim

AGISIM, Pamela Jacks Of Keene/Swanzey, NH, age 57, died at home on Friday, May 6, 2011, after a long illness. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Marvin and Carol (Simpson) Jacks. Pamela graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Nursing degree from Capital University, Columbus, OH and a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She worked for many years as a psychiatric nurse and as a nursing administrator. Pamela loved animals. She adopted and cared for shelter cats and rescued greyhounds. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Frederick Agisim, of Keene, NH, her mother, Carol Jacks and her brother, Gary Jacks, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, another brother, Dr. Steven Jacks of Centerville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Monadnock View Cemetery on Park Avenue in Keene, NH on Friday, May 13 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Monadnock Humane Society, PO Box 678, West Swanzey, NH 03469 or Greyhound Friends, Inc., 167 Saddle Hill Road, Hopkinton, MA 01748. Arrangements have been made by the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St., Keene, NH.
