WARD, Raymond L. Sr. 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 3rd, surrounded by his family. Born in Oakland, CA; he grew up in Providence, RI. Raymond sold and serviced machinery as the owner of Easy Machinery Corp. for many years. He served his country honorably with the US Navy during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 33 years; Janet Ward of Sherborn; one sister; Ann Lennemann of Bakersfield, CA; five sons; Raymond L. Ward Jr. of Narragansett, RI; Jeffrey R. Ward of Northborough; David A. Ward of Barre; Kenneth J. Ward of Ocala, FL; and Mark P. Ward of Millbury; four daughters; Carol A. Carlo of Worcester; Diane V. Ward of Sturbridge; Susan M. Looney of Shrewsbury; and Pamela J. Phillips of Apex, NC; two stepsons; Daniel and Donald Woodward; both of Sherborn; two stepdaughters; Deborah Gingras of Merrimack, NH; and Donna Woodward of Portland, OR; 22 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 great-great grandchild. He was the father of the late Robert B. Ward. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 8th at 11:00am in St. Theresa's Parish, 35 West Main St. in Sherborn with burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Sherborn.
