Jancaterino, Rocco Richard
85, of Weymouth, MA and Naples, FL, a retired excavation contractor and owner of Rite-Way Construction Company of Weymouth, died Sunday at his home in Naples, FL. He was born in Quincy and lived most of his life in Weymouth before retiring to Naples, FL. He was the loving husband of the late Elaine (Wells) of Braintree, MA. He was the devoted father of four sons; Richard B. (Nancy) Jancaterino of West Hartford, CT, Wayne (Carlyn) Giancaterino, PhD of Honolulu, HI, Daniel Jancaterino of Hull, MA, Jon Jancaterino, MD of Lahaina, Maui, and one daughter, Laurie (Mark) Procter of Hopkinton, MA. He also leaves seven grandchildren - Heather (Irizzary), Renee (Hobart}, Rick, Liane (Tinsley), Angela, Shaun, Dominic and six great grandchildren - Austin, Alex, Grace, Casey, Patrick and Kellan. Mr. Jancaterino was the son of the late Rocco Jancaterino and Anna (Coppola) of Quincy, MA and was predeceased by his sister, Lucille DiCesare, and brothers, Charles (Lolo) and George. He is survived by his sisters, Madeline Papile of Quincy, MA, Isabelle Reiger of Pierre, SD, and brother, John of Montgomery, AL. He is also survived by his close friend, Lois Murtaugh, of Naples, Florida and his loving caretakers, Alberto Vallejo and Maria Vasquez. He enjoyed reading, watching Seinfeld episodes on TV, playing cards, gardening, traveling, playing the lottery, and going to the casino. Arrangements by the Fuller Funeral Home in East Naples, FLORIDA. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
