BROWN, Roger A. Of Needham passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27. He was 93 years old and lived a full and productive life. Born and raised in Dorchester, he moved to Pinewood Road in Needham in 1959. A graduate of Northeastern University, he worked as a civil engineer at Jackson & Moreland and later at Raytheon. He was a dedicated and respected member of the First Baptist Church in Needham for 54 years, serving in many capacities. After his retirement, he spent many years volunteering his handyman, carpentry, and landscaping skills to the church and members of the community. He is survived by Marion (Huggins), his loving wife of 65 years; his sister, Audrey Brown; and his three children_Alan Brown of Millis, Janet Brown of Falls Church, VA, and Philip Brown of Bellevue, WA. He leaves 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who loved him dearly. His funeral will be held privately in Needham.
