CHARLTON, Richard F. 64, of Washington Street, Plainville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife Janet and his four beloved cats on October 26, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 1, 1949, he was a son of the late Albert and Margaret (Kehoe) Charlton. In addition to his wife Janet, Richard is survived by two brothers; William Hamilton of New Jersey, and Robert Hamilton of Pennsylvania. He was the brother of the late Neil Hamilton. Richard was a graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey and earned his Masters Degree from the University of Illinois. He loved music, playing his guitar, and making electric guitars. He also loved to travel with his wife, particularly to Germany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, WRENTHAM CENTRE, MA, on Wednesday from 9-11 AM. His Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Shepardville Cemetery, Plainville.
