WILLIAM T. (UNCLE BILL) KEOUGH

Keough, William T. (Uncle Bill)
88 years old of New Port Richey, Fl, formerly of Brighton, MA where he was born, Newton, MA, Medford, MA and Milton, NH was promoted to Heaven on June 20, 2013, where he will be met by his parents William and Anne (Noone) of Galway, Ireland, his first wife Susana, and sisters Mary, Kay, and Anne. He enjoyed golf where he once shot a 75 at 76 years of age. He was a member of the ALEPPO Shriners, The Boston Consistory of Masons 32 degree and the American Legion. He was a 30 year member of the U.S. Railway Mail service and managed the Wollaston, MA Post Office. Uncle Bill was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Good Conduct Medal for his service in the 34th infantry division, 133rd infantry for action in the Italian campaign (Anzio) of WW II. He is survived by his cousin and friend Theresa Walsh of Attleboro, Pastor Brian Dixon and Colin Ward of Medford. He also leaves behind nephews; Kevin Haley and his wife Andi of Dover, NH, Bill Haley of New Port Richey, Fl and grandniece Brandee Haley of Wolfboro, NH. Burial will be private at the Holy Hood Cemetery , Brookline, MA
