ANDREW CAY Obituary

CAY, Andrew 89, died Friday, July 25, 2014 surrounded by his family. Andrew leaves behind his loving wife Louise E. (Hart) of Marshfield, his sons William S. Cay and his wife Amy of Cambridge, and Andrew R. Cay of Spofford, NH. Other survivors include his grandchildren Henry, Larisa, Andrew, and Edith, his former wife Marion (Stearns) Cay, and several nieces and nephews. Andrew was the son of the late Marion (Robertson) Cay and William M. Cay. He was born in Medford, MA and was a graduate of Waltham High School. He served for 3 years in the United States Army in World War II in the Pacific. Andrew was a graduate of Dartmouth College, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and Harvard Law School. He worked for the Kendall Company in Boston for many years, serving as Financial VP, and he also handled mergers and acquisitions for the company. He had great woodworking skills, loved nature, animals, and long walks, and had an enduring interest in current affairs. A kind, thoughtful, and generous man, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Services will be private.
