Mrs. Fitz and family,
I was saddened to hear the news that Mr. Fitz had passed away. My daughters were in OLS a week ago and heard the sad news. Jeannine wanted to speak with you on the beach, but you were busy and then she did not see you again.
Dan always enjoyed chatting with Mr. Fitz when were up there He will be sorely missed. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

To all the Fitzgerald Family - the passing of Jack Fitzgerald means the lass of a good man and a great father. He and my father (who we sadly lost a year and a half ago) were cut from the same cloth. They had real integrity and high standards for themselves and for their children.
I know this is a sad time for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincere and prayerful sympathy to you, Frances, and each of you ten well-remembered kids from Ann to Paul. How sad it is for you to lose your dear husband/father who guided you over these many years. Be assured of my prayers now and in the difficult days ahead. May the strength he demonstrated in his life be a source of comfort and peace to each of you.

One of the truly good guys. After my Dad passed away, Jack began calling me on a regular basis.We stayed caught up on everything from family to bad sports broadcasters and current affairs. Not only did I love these conversations, but it will surprise no one that the people who answer the phones at my office, looked forward to some Jack chat at well. He will be missed but always remembered well.

Jack was a unique person: a raconteur, a songster, a trivia expert, a classic conservative, a successful businessman, and, most importantly, a superb son, husband, father, family member, and friend. He was quite a guy.

Mr. Fitzgerald was a man of high integrity and moral character who was first and foremost a family man. We are happy to have gotten to know him (and of course his lovely wife!) as he supported his granchildren's sporting events. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Fitzgerald family who we know have many wonderful memories to support them at this difficult time and always.
