BEATON, Enid P. (Parsons) Died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Wayland Nursing & Rehab. Center. She was eighty-five years old. Born on August 27, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Joseph & Enid (Partington) Parsons. Mrs. Beaton was the devoted wife of the late William D. Beaton and together they raised six children of their own and helped foster forty-three children. Enid was all about her family, spending time with her children and was Mimi to her fourteen grandchildren and Mimi the Great to her fourteen great grandchildren. She was the loving mother of Gail Keith-Fine & her husband Richard of Natick, William Beaton & his wife Teri of Ashland, Christopher Beaton of Natick, Pamela Harris & her husband Stephen, also of Natick, James Beaton of Wardsboro, VT & Barbara Calkins & her husband Scott of Shrewsbury. Also survived by her sister Elaine Marzilli of Halifax & close friend & caregiver Ann Morris of Natick. Enids Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her beloved St. Patricks Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick on Monday, January 6th at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at NATICK COMMON on Sunday, January 5th from 2:00-6:00PM. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Memorial contributions in Enids memory may be made to the Natick Visiting Nurses Association, 209 W. Central St., #313, Natick, MA 01760. Gail, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was undoubtedly, the nicest, sweetest and had the most beautiful soul. She never judged me. Always made me feel so welcome home. I am honored to have known your Mom. I'm sure just one of hundreds who can say that with love and respect. I hope your life has gone well too. I have fond memories of our trip to Amish country! Pam and family I was so sorry to hear about the death of your Mom. It sounds like her final hour was peaceful. Mom asked immediately when she walked past her room if she had gone home and in a sense she has. I'm so happy that she was seated at Mom's table in Wayland. I enjoyed our talks.
