1969 - 2017

DAHL, Eric R. 48, of Foxborough, passed unexpectedly on September 23, 2017 in Norwood Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Alison J. (Romsey) Dahl and devoted father to Emma and Casey Dahl. Born in Cambridge, MA on June 3, 1969, he was the son of Richard Dahl and his wife Nora of Chatham and Patricia (Johnson) Dahl of Falmouth. Eric was a graduate of Matignon High School in Cambridge and later received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Bentley University. He was employed by Fidelity Investments as a systems analyst. Eric was an active and dedicated father and husband who cherished his family. Eric was a fan of all Boston sports teams and was an avid runner. His favorite time was spent with his family at the beach. Eric was famous for his beach set-ups which included American Flags and numerous beach games. Eric was the life of the party and touched so many people. He was an animal lover, who especially loved his dog Murphy. In addition to his wife Alison, his children and parents, Eric is survived by two sisters, Kerry Dahl of Melrose and Kathy Dahl of Cambridge, his father and mother-in-law, Harry and Carolyn (Call) Romsey of Plainville, brother and sisters-in-law, Stan and Heather Lockavitch of North Attleboro and Jason and Jodi Romsey of Wrentham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, September 28th at 11 AM in Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rock Hill Street, Foxborough.
