Dear Field/Adelson Family,
I just want to take this time to express my sympathy to your whole family. I was one of the nurses who took care of Mrs. Field while she was recieving treatment at Hadassah Hospital. I didn't know her very well, but I really loved her. I just read the notice in the Post and found this site today. I remember the faces of some of you, the one,fun-day we had together. Again, with deepest sympathy, I remain, Nurse David.

I was so sorry to hear about Gloria's passing. I go back to the early Dorchester days and my late husband Sumner was an old friend of Gloria's. She paid a "shiva" visit when he died and I am sorry I will be unable to visit you as I am in Florida. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. I'm from Seaver St. just up the street from where you lived on Erie St.

We were neighbors of Gloria at Lochstead on Cape Cod and just learned of her death. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to her family. She was a wonderful person who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

My wife and I were so sad to hear about Gloria's passing. I had just spoken with her this past Wednesday, after Abe Foxman visited us in Florida. She sounded so well and happy to hear from me, as I was to speak with her. She was a lovely person and a good friend for over 50 years. We will miss her dearly. Our condolences to the entire Adelson family, with special regards to Sheldon and Miriam.
