GREGORY G. FALLON

FALLON, Gregory George 68, of Rutland, formerly of Malden, Massachusetts, died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his home. Beloved by his family and friends, Greg was the husband of Marie (Duemig) Fallon of Rutland. Son of the late Henry G. and Catherine (Crowley) Fallon, Greg was the brother of the late Thomas H. Fallon and his wife, Janice of Hampton, New Hampshire, Christopher G. Fallon and his wife, Catherine of Malden, and Jerome A. Fallon and his wife, Joann of Salem, New Hampshire. He is survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, and his death is preceded by his niece, the late Mary (Fallon) Gistis. Since 2007, Mr. Fallon served as a Professor at the College of Saint Joseph in Rutland; and he was a Professor at Newbury College, Franklin Pierce College, Montana State University Northern, Sienna College and Klamath Falls College. Mr. Fallon graduated from Malden High School and Franklin Institute of Boston. He achieved his Bachelors Degree from Merrimack College and his MBA at Rivier College. Mr. Fallon proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an active member of both the V.F.W. Post 648, where he was the former Commander and House Committee Member, and the American Legion Post 31. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2015, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Rutland. Rev. Angelito Sumon-ong, Pastor, will officiate.
