Abbie,
I am a Physician Assistant practicing Allergy in Miami, FL for the past 12 years but most importantly, I am the Mother of a child with food allergies. I know all about the fear of having a child growing up with food allergies and I cannot begin to imagine the pain and the void that your early departure has brought to your family and friends. I just want you to know that your death will not be in vain. I will dedicate my yearly Food Allergy Education presentation to you at my son's or any other school I present to this year.

Dear Amy, Steve, and David,
We just learned today, through chance and a mutual FB friend, of the passing of your beautiful daughter Abby. Its been many years since we were neighbors in Holliston but we remember you all fondly and remember Abbie's beautiful smile and infectious laugh and spirit. It is heartbreaking to learn of her sudden passing and we wanted to express our deepest sympathy to you all. Sending our love and prayers to each of you at this time. Beyond sad. This is the absolute worse thing that could happen to a family. Fortunately, my son is in treatment for peanut anaphylaxis. I will forever wonder if we had reached you in time with this news, could we have prevented your loss?
