DOUGLASS, Mary Jane (Endlich) Of Reading, December 9, 2010. Beloved wife of John B. Douglass, Sr. Devoted mother of Martin R. Douglass of Portland OR, Christina Ahern and her husband Daniel of Dublin NH, Melissa Doto and her husband Mark of Wilmington DE and John B. Douglass, Jr. and his wife Dr. Laurie Douglass of Reading. Cherished sister of Raymond Endlich and his wife Pat of Williamsburg VA, Ruth Cioffi and her husband Frank Sr. of Coconut Creek FL, Joanne Kinney and her husband Donald of Newton IA. Loving grandmother of Douglass, Sean and Riley Ahern, Andrew Jackson, Lacey and Sean Douglass. Mary Jane is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) READING, Mon. December 13 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Funeral Home visiting hours Sun. 5-9. Burial in Wood End Cemetery, Reading. Those who wish may make contributions in Mary Jane's memory to Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867. I happened to stop into the Horseshoe last night only to hear of Mary Jane passing. I can't tell you how sad it made me. When I first moved to Andover and knew no one you and Mary Jane treated me as if you knew me all my life. I felt so welcomed by her kindness and her gambling tips!
