As I age (Now 67) I realize how much Ive been blessed by the opportunities given me by others. Mr Allen is one of those that helped me become aware of my God given talents of design and drawing. I never got to tell you Mr Allen ...Thank You...

One year later I reflect on what you have meant to me as a loving brother.  You had a very tender heart and though you tried not to show it, many, many people were blessed by your kindness and generosity.  I miss being able to leave you little messages on your cell phone - that number is still in mine. My prayers are for your dear wife, Millie, and your beautiful children and grandchildren. May God bless them and comfort them. Our hope is that we will all be together again. I love you - Fif

I am just learning of this. I didn't know Martin Allen well, but I worked at Computervision and got to know him a little there. He was certainly a respected man. I'm so sorry for your loss. And yes, we will all be together again someday. Blessings to you and to Mr. Allen's soul.

Martin, you were my husband, Jim's, oldest and most influential friend, whom he knew and loved for 66 years, which is as long as I am old! That's a long time and a lot of cherished memories.

I am so glad that I had the privilege of knowing you, with your kind and generous and always upbeat spirit, and though Jim seems unable to articulate his grief, I hope it is not presumptuous of me to speak for him, because I know that he misses you terribly.

I will always cherish the memory of the week that we spent with Martin and Millie and Bruce in Sun Valley, skiing, years ago, and more recently, my visit to Goffstown, which was a real highlight in my life! And, of course, we always enjoyed seeing Martin on our turf, here in CA.

Both of us send our heartfelt love and sympathy to Millie and Bruce and Glenn and their families, as well as to Martin's brother and sisters and their families. I apologize for taking so long to think to look on line for Mart's Obituary, and appreciate the opportunity to offer our condolences and to extend our love to the family.

Martin, you were my husband, Jim's, oldest friend -- friends for 66 years, which is as long as I am old! That's a long time to be friends, and I know that Jim misses you very much, despite the fact that he did not know how to deal with your illness and now, with your passing.
You were the most important and most influential person in Jim's life, and what a privilege it was to know you. Your kindness and your generous spirit and always upbeat personality were amazing -- even in the face of the struggle you faced so valiently.

We cherished your visits to see us, and I will always remember the week-long visit we had with you and Millie (and Bruce) at Sun Valley many years ago, as well as my visit to see you both in Goffstown more recently. It was an honor to know you and to have you as a friend, and our heart goes out to Millie and Bruce and Glenn and their families, as well as to Martin's brother and sisters.

I apologize that it took me so long to think to look on line for your Obituary, and I appreciate the opportunity to express my grief for your loss, and though it may be somewhat presumptuous for me to speak for Jim, he seems unable to speak his feelings for himself, though I'm sure you know what he is feeling, despite his inability to articulate it. Our love to you and to your grieving family.

I took Martin and Millie charter fishing numerous times over the years in Pine Island Sound while they were staying at their vacation home on Sanibel Island. They were my favorite fishing couple and we shared many a story while waiting to catch the big one! True to his background and professional abilities Martin would ask a lot of questions on why I did what I did regarding all aspects of fishing. Sometimes I didn't even know the answer, so I would tell him it was just the way I was taught! There were good days and bad days fishing as with life, but we always enjoyed the day and each others company.

I was deeply saddened when I heard of the passing of my fishing buddy, knowing how hard he fought.

To Millie and all the Allen family you have my deepest sympathy.
