ROBERT McLAUGHLIN Obituary
Of Newton, formerly of Brighton, May 9, 2012. Beloved Husband for 42 years of Mary (DiLoffi). Devoted Father of Joseph McLaughlin, Michelle McNamara, and Jennifer Hill and her Husband Gregory. Dear Brother of Ellen McLaughlin, Thomas McLaughlin Jr, Patricia May and the late Theresa Marie McLaughlin. Loving Grandfather of Brian and Casey McNamara, Tessa and Drew Hill. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Thomas E. McLaughlin and Theresa (Dooley). Robert retired from the MBTA and was a longtime member of the Newton Elks. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton, Friday from 3-8PM and again on Saturday morning at 8AM, before proceeding to Saint Columbkille Parish, Market St, Brighton for a Funeral Mass at 9AM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Joey, I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I had the pleasure of meeting him again a few years ago, and he was full of laughter. Ben knew him even better, and enjoyed his company!

I was so sad to hear of Mucs passing. I always looked forward to seeing him at all Mclaughlin family events. I have many fond memories of him over the years and he will be missed. My heart goes out to all of you!
