HELEN ROSE Obituary

ROSE, Helen Carlotta Of Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Boston, died peacefully at home on March 23, 2014. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Cecil S. Rose, she is survived by her son, Stuart M. Rose and his wife, Margie J. Topf; daughter, S. Jane Rose and her partner, H. Kent Atkins; and granddaughter Kim Rose and her fiancee, Rachel Belliveau. A graduate of Emerson College, she had a lifelong commitment to helping people in need. Helen was a trustee of Emerson College for 49 years and the founder of the Speech and Hearing Foundation of Massachusetts. She was gracious and generous to her friends and approached life with a spirit and elegance that will be missed by all who knew her. Donations may be made in her memory to the Helen Rose Ethics in Political Communication Scholarship, Office of Development, Emerson College, 120 Boylston St., Boston, MA 02116.
