Services at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard Street, Brookline on Sunday, April 30 at 1:00pm. Interment at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 350 Grove Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance at his late residence on Sunday 6:00-8:00pm, Monday 3:00-7:00pm and Tuesday 2:00-4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Harvard University, in memory of Marvin A. Collier Class of 1946, Friends of the Boston Public Garden or the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Quelle triste nouvelle. Je m'incline devant votre douleur et votre chagrin. Vous étiez un couple si exceptionnel qui avait toute notre affection et aussi notre admiration pour ce que vous avez fait au nom de l'amitié entre nos deux peuples et en particulier pour le jumelage entre Boston et Strasbourg. Pendant de longues années j'ai eu la chance et l'honneur d'être votre correspondant strasbourgeois. j'en garde un souvenir émouvant et reconnaissant. Bon courage pour cette épreuve. Vous êtes dans mes prières. Que Dieu vous garde!
