EDWARD T. TRONTI

TRONTI, Edward T. Of Needham formerly of Westwood, Dedham and Norwood died on July 21, 2013 at the age of 69. Devoted Father of Jason E. Tronti of W. Roxbury, Jarrod C. Tronti of Norwood and the late Jessica Tronti. Brother of John C. Tronti and his wife Susan of Ponte Verde Beach, FL. Grandfather of Kaylee Jessica Tronti of Dedham. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday Evening July 25, 2013 7pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. NORWOOD, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm. A graveside Service will be held on Friday 11:00 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne, MA. Edward was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and retired Communications Technician for AT&T working there for 22+ years. He was also a member of the Communications Workers of America. He specialized in the installation of Private Branch Exchange (PBX) office systems for corporate communication suites and later worked in the Dig Safe program installing underground fiber optic cabling with AT&T before his sudden illness and disability in September of 1990. Prior to AT&T; Ed was in the US Navy as an Aviation Boson Mate from 1963 to 1966. His duty stations included the Amphibious Helicopter Ship USS Okinawa LPH-3 and the Sea Plane Tender USS Duxbury Bay AVP-38. He was in a reserve status until 1968. Ed also resided in Middleboro at the Greenery-Skilled Nursing Center there for many years following his illness. The family is ever grateful to the staff at Middleboro for their kindness and caring attitude for Ed. May he rest in a peaceful and happy place amongst all Gods loving children.
