I lived next door to Mark & Susan. I remember sitting in Mark's room listening to records. His life's story is an inspiration.

I was saddened to read of Mark's death. I never knew anyone as courageous as Mark, or as you, his family. His spirit will continue to be an inspiration to all of us.

Sincerely,

Carolyn

I don't know if anyone could capture in a book, poem or movie, the force of Mark's inspiration to all who knew him and supported him in his phenomenal battle with a disease that was supposed to end his life 25 years ago. Mark's determination to be as alive as possible is an indelible lesson about the worth of any life. It will not fade from any mind lucky enough to have known Mark. He long ago lost the ability to raise a glass so for his sake, let us all say "l'Chaim!"
