I hope you find comfort in this time of your loss. Know that God is a God of comfort and tender mercies (1 Cor. 1:3 If you call on Him, He will turn His ear to you, and can provide you with the comfort needed during this time.

To: The Alberty children, spouses and Bob's grandchildren
So sorry for your loss. Your father and mother were role models for me as to how to age in a vibrant, involved and loving way. Hearing how they would meet at Au Bon Pain in Harvard Square after he would walk to his office at MIT -- wasn't he into his 90's at this point? -- was such an inspiration. Bob and Lillian were so sweet together -- both were intelligent, open, humble and giving. How they gracefully moved into their later years reminds us all of the importance of keeping active, both mentally and physically, for as long as you can.
