ALLISON LOUISE WARMUTH Obituary
WARMUTH, Allison Louise Died unexpectedly in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in a vehicle accident at just 28 years old. She was born to Ivan and Martha Warmuth in St. Mary's, Ohio. She also lived in Quebec City, Canada; Plattsburgh, New York and Boston, Massachusetts. Allison graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2004 and received a BA in Business Administration from Messiah College, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 2008. Alli worked as a senior underwriter at Lexington Insurance, a part of AIG. Allie joined AIG as an intern in her junior year at Messiah College, and was offered a job with Lexington Insurance upon her graduation. She started as an Underwriting Assistant in the Healthcare Department of the Lexington National Branch. She worked her way up to Senior Underwriter over time, and then led the Lexington Healthcare team in Boston. Alli had been a member of the company's High Potential Leadership Development Program since 2014, and a key leader in the company's Innovation Bootcamp program. Alli was Vice President of the Lexington Toastmaster's club. She was preparing to relocate to Chicago to pursue her MBA, and to also take on the role of Healthcare Manager in AIG's Chicago office. Alli volunteered at the Women's Lunch Place, an organization that helps women experiencing homelessness or poverty. Allison enjoyed running, skiing, and golfing. She was an accomplished knitter in what remained of her spare time. She was kind, intelligent, fun, and sweet. She was successful in her career and charitable in her personal life. She had a love for life, her friends and family, and was the epitome of being beautiful inside and out. We remember Allie for her intelligence, humor, kindness and joy for life; and how she lit up every room she walked into. Allison is survived by her parents Ivan and Martha Warmuth; her sister Heather Warmuth Harris of Smyrna, Tennessee; her sister Sara Warmuth of Wenham, Massachusetts; and a large extended family. Visiting hours will be held Friday May 13th at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. LEXINGTON, MA from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday May 14th, at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd., Lexington at 11:00 am. A reception at Grace Chapel will follow the service.
