LAWYER, Ann M. 84, formerly of Plainville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 4, 2016 in Harrington House, Walpole, She was the beloved wife of the late Donald W. Lawyer, Jr. |
Born in Norwood on September 4, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Winfelt and Helen (McAuliffe) Eckhardt. Ann was a graduate of Norwood High School. She was a homemaker who was very active in the Plainville Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ann is survived by a son; Daniel Lawyer and his wife Laura of Florida, a sister; Jane Elizabeth Purpura of Norwood, her grandchildren; Daniel Lawyer Jr, Robyn Metivier and her husband David, J.G. Breton, and Brendon Breton, and three great- grandchildren; Jaxson Metivier, Daryl, and Issac Breton.
She was the mother of the late Debra A. Breton, Donald ""Chip"" Lawyer, and Thomas Lawyer, and sister of the late Carl F. Eckhardt, Paul W. Eckhardt, John J. Eckhardt, and Helen Gallant.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9 - 10 AM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, WRENTHAM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM in St. Mary's Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Walpole. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to:
