ANN KILLOUGH Obituary

KILLOUGH, Ann Winsor, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, was born on June 11, 1927 in Providence, Rhode Island, and passed away at age 91 on August 1, 2018 in Midlothian, Virginia. Daughter of Hugh Baxter and Lucy Winsor Killough, Ann is survived by her son, John C. Hehre (Marian); daughter, Joanne Hehre Brothers; and grandchildren, Nancy Chance Brothers, Meredith Lee Brothers, Elizabeth Ann Brothers, James Harvey Brothers V, Christine Hehre Tierney, (Kyle) and Kathryn Elizabeth Hehre. Ann graduated from Swarthmore College in 1949, earned master's degrees from Columbia and Northeastern University, and worked as an accountant, teacher, and freelance writer. After her children were grown, Ann became involved in Boston Mensa, serving as treasurer, and was a founding member of the New View co-housing community in Acton, Massachusetts. An avid reader, Ann also enjoyed gardening, crochet, playing card and board games, and the theater. Investing was her passion. Friends and family members are welcome at the memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Elizabeth Felicetti, on Friday, September 7 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church, 1801 Camborne Rd., North Chesterfield, Virginia 23236.
