HIGGINS, Anna V. (Curran) Of South Boston and Dorchester passed away peacefully on May 1, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Francis Higgins. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Powers) Curran. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Mary W., Patrick, Martin, James, Edward, Theresa, and Robert. Cherished aunt of Joseph T., his wife Marilyn, Helen Louise, Kathy Clark, Paul, Brian and Debbie, James, Mary, Stephen, Joseph P, his wife Carol, Mark and his wife Christina. Great aunt of Robbie, Jenni and David Clark, Krysta Stewart, Keith, Anna, Ava, Tess, Mark James, Chase, Bryce, and Natalie Curran. Anna was also survived by the caring and deeply devoted Higgins family members in Ireland. She will be missed by her many relatives and friends, her devoted companions and her caretakers Paula, Maureen, Sharon, Alice, Jane, Karen, and Mitsie. Visiting hours in The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON, Wednesday from 3-8 PM. Funeral Mass in St. Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, Thursday at 12:30PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Relatives and friends are invited to attend all services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to St. Gregory Parish, 2223 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02124.
