CANNATELLI, Anthony J., Jr. Of Groveland MA, formerly of Danvers, MA, beloved husband of the late Helene (Callahan) Cannatelli, died Thursday morning, November 24, 2016. He was born in Malden, MA on September 2, 1930 to the late Anthony J., Sr. and Ida (Capachietti) Cannatelli. He was raised in Everett, and attended Everett High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army at the age of 14. During his enlistment, he served during WW II and the Korean War, until his honorable discharge in December of 1951.Upon arriving home, Anthony was employed at the Watertown Arsenal for many years before starting his own electronics company, H & S Industries, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards for companies such as RCA and Wang Industries, where he worked until his retirement in 1983. In his retirement years, Anthony enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making frequent trips to casinos. Anthony is survived by his four children, including LeeAnn O'Friel and her husband Michael of West Newbury, Robert Cannatelli of Haverhill, and James Cannatelli of Mashpee, several grandchildren including Ryan, Michaela, Caragh and his "pal" Brendan, as well as many nieces and nephews. At the request of Anthony's family, funeral services and burial will be private.
