ANTOINETTE R. (MARTIN) CROCETTI Obituary
CROCETTI, Antoinette R. (Martin) Passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019, at the age of 96, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Sam Crocetti. Toni and Sam resided in Watertown, MA, where they raised their family. Devoted mother of Francis and his wife Lucinda of Newton, Steven and his wife Joyce of Ashland, and Eileen Lindberg and her husband Steven of Holliston. Sister of the late Teresa Pulice, and brothers Nicholas and Albert Martin. Beloved grandmother of Paul Crocetti and Mary Crocetti Miller, Patrick and Sarah Lindberg, and Stephanie, Rebecca and Sam Crocetti. Born and raised in Catskill, New York, Toni worked for the telephone company for many years. There she met and married her husband, Sam, who was the director of the Catskill Boys Club. In 1957, Sam and Toni moved their young family to Watertown. Toni remained a loyal Yankee fan all her life. For many years, Toni worked for the Watertown Public Schools as a luncheon aide. Her love of family extended into the lunchroom as she took children under her wing. The center of her universe was her family. Sunday dinner was a well loved tradition with plenty of pasta, her legendary meatballs, and Frank Sinatra music filling the room. Those meatballs were a staple at the Newton Boys & Girls Club annual meeting. Throughout her life she touched people with her love and kindness. Visiting hours will be held at Andrew J. Magni & Son FH, 365 Watertown St., NEWTON, Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 4-8PM, and again Wednesday morning at 9:30AM before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton Endowment, 675 Watertown St., Newton, MA 02460.
