BARRY W. BOUDREAU Obituary
BOUDREAU, Barry W. Age 66, of Quincy, died peacefully, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury. Barry was born in Boston, raised and educated in Somerville. He has lived in Quincy for over ten years, previously living in Falmouth. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a combat veteran in the First Air Calvary Division. Barry attained the rank of Sergeant and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Barry owned and operated his own bakeries in Somerville and Falmouth. He was an advocate of Father Bills and MainSpring in Quincy and Brockton and was a member of their Board of Directors for many years. Barry was an avid fisherman. Beloved son of the late William and Jean M. (McDevitt) Boudreau. Devoted brother of Thomas F. Boudreau, Brenda M. Palmacci both of Groton, the late Roberta Flynn, and the late Bonnie J. Driscoll. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, QUINCY, Thursday, December 5th from 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment with Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Friday at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barrys memory may be made to Father Bills and MainSpring, 38 Broad Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
