OLSHANSKY, Bernard Of Chestnut Hill, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Loving husband of Rena J. (Shapiro) Olshansky and the late Nancy A. (Levenson) Olshansky. Beloved father of Susan (& Gary) Singer, Judith Anne (& Doug) Gragg, Kenneth Olshansky (& Margot Owett). Devoted stepfather of Catharyn (& Mike) Gildesgame, Stuart Blumberg, and David (& Amy) Blumberg. Cherished "Zadie" of Jessica & Hannah Singer; Jason, Samuel & Melanie Gragg; Gideon & Clara Olshansky; Emma, Jesse & Sophie Gildesgame. Also, Andrew, Alex, and William Blumberg. Dear brother of Muriel & Lewis Lachter. Fond brother-in-law of Daniel & Ellen Shapiro. Services at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard Street, Brookline on Sunday, December 5 at 11AM. Burial at the Hebrew Volin Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Immediately following the burial, family and friends are welcome to return to Congregation Kehillath Israel for a Seudat Havra'ah (meal of consolation) to include personal remarks by those who would like to share their thoughts and memories of Bernie. Mincha will follow. Shiva will commence Sunday evening at 7:00 PM at the home of Bernard & Rena Olshansky; The Towers of Chestnut Hill, 250 Hammond Pond Parkway, and will be held from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM at the Olshansky home on Tuesday through Thursday and next Friday from noon-2 PM. Shiva will also be held on Monday and thereafter at the home of Judy Olshansky Gragg and Doug Gragg, 115 Dawson Drive, Needham from 1:00 until 9 PM Monday through Thursday and next Friday from noon to 2 PM. Maariv Minyan will be at 7:30 PM each night.
